Not LaKisha’s Last Dance
So LaKisha Jones dances through to the top 9 along with her top two competitors Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle. It was a great performance that deserved high praise. But now it’s on to next week.
Tony Bennett. That’s an interesting challenge. Not vocally, but age-related. LaKisha and Melinda need to becareful not to appear older than they are. Song choice will be important as each diva attempts to create some distance between them.
Sanjaya escapes again, Houdini rolls over
Sanjaya Malakar must have some serious hair-raising fans. I don’t get it, but I think that Tony Bennett week could be Sanjaya’s break out week. Before you think I’m crazy, give a listen to Tony Bennett’s new album Duets An American Classic. It’s Sanjaya’s style — soft, sweet and tender. I think if he’s gonna do it for real, it’ll be next week.
